Community-Based Agro-Ecotourism Sustainability in West Java, Indonesia

Community-based agro-ecotourism is a tourism activity that utilizes the agricultural, natural, and cultural potential of environmentally friendly rural communities as objects whose management carried out by local community. This study analyzes sustainability sensitivity attributes affect community-based in West Java. The used survey method 237 agro-tourism actors spread across five tourist villages. villages were selected purposively to represent diversity agricultural commodities zoning Java’s strategic crossroads. Data analyzed using Multi-Dimensional Scaling Rapid Appraisal-agro-ecotourism technique (Rap-Agro-ecotourism). results showed Java was sufficiently sustainable. social dimension index has highest score, while technology lowest score. most sensitive affecting are number visits, availability transportation facilities infrastructure, cooperation with outsiders, preservation businesses, waste management, arts festivals. contributes comprehensively through economic, social, cultural, institutional, ecological, technological dimensions, so it expected adding literature on become input material formulation agro-ecotourism-based development policies, especially
